Nick Schofield

Dr. Nick Schofield is a consultant anaesthetist at the Royal Free Hospital in London. He is involved in the peri-operative care of high risk patients undergoing vascular and hepato-pancreatic-biliary and liver transplant surgery. He has extensive cardiovascular anaesthesia experience and is accredited in transoesophageal echo with the ESA.

He is an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor with University College London (UCL), and is the lead for the Royal Free Perioperative Research Group (RoFPoR). His research areas of interest are coagulation and bleeding management, prehabilitation in high risk surgery, and long term cognitive outcomes following surgery.
